This Trust & Safety Page ("Trust & Safety Page") sets out the steps we take to mitigate the risk that content, including User Content available on or through our Services violates our Terms of Service (together with our Acceptable Use Policy, our "Keepsafe Terms and Policies"), infringes any person's rights or is otherwise illegal or harmful ("Prohibited Content").
Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Trust & Safety Page shall have the meaning given to them in the Keepsafe Terms and Policies.
Our policies and moderation processes, including our Acceptable Use Policy, are designed to help us detect and respond to Prohibited Content that violates Keepsafe Terms and Policies and/or applicable laws (our "Standards").
Examples of Prohibited Content that is illegal and violates our Standards include child sexual exploitation and abuse ("CSEA") content, intimate image abuse content, content constituting or enabling controlling or coercive behavior, sexual exploitation content and terrorism content. Some content may be legal, but nonetheless harmful. Examples of Prohibited Content that may be harmful and that therefore violates our Standards include content which encourages, promotes or provides instructions for suicide, self-harm or an eating disorder, and violent content. More information about Prohibited Content can be found in our Acceptable Use Policy.
Upon becoming aware that these types of Prohibited Content are on our Services, we act swiftly to take appropriate action, aiming to minimize the amount of time the Prohibited Content remains on our Services. Where appropriate, we report such content to relevant child protection and law enforcement authorities.
If you encounter Prohibited Content that you think violates our Standards (including if you think it violates our Acceptable Use Policy or applicable laws), you can report it to us using the Report Content Form. We endeavor to review all such reports promptly and to take appropriate action.
If you wish to contact us about a legal issue, or believe we have failed to comply with our obligations under applicable laws (including if we failed to comply with our obligations in respect of illegal content or content reporting), you can contact us at reporting@getkeepsafe.com.
If you find illegal or harmful content on a non-Keepsafe service, you should contact the provider of that service directly.
When you submit a report using our Report Content Form, our human moderators look at the Content to see if it violates our Standards. Occasionally we might ask you for some more details about your report. We typically make a decision within 10 business days, although some complex cases may take longer.
After we have reviewed the report, we take the action that we deem appropriate. This could mean that we:
Once we have made a decision with respect to a legal removal request, we will notify you of that decision. We may also let the person who posted the Content know that a complaint was made against their content. In respect of requests made by a government or court, we may tell the person who posted the Content, which government or court made that request.
Users and regulators with questions or concerns — or who wish to submit a complaint — about our compliance with applicable online safety laws can contact our Online Safety Compliance Officer at privacy@getkeepsafe.com.
If you believe your User Content has been removed or restricted in error, or believe your account has been suspended or terminated in error, or believe any other decision we have made has not been consistent with our Standards, you can submit an appeal by emailing us at appeals@getkeepsafe.com.
You should make an appeal to us as soon as possible after receiving notification of our decision. Appeals are typically resolved within 10 business days, though some complex cases may take longer.
When the appeal is decided we will inform you of our decision, which may include taking the action requested in your appeal, denying your appeal, or taking some alternative action that we deem appropriate.
