Keepsafe Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to anyone who uses Keepsafe's ("Keepsafe," "we," "us," "our") website located at https://www.getkeepsafe.com/ (the "Site"), mobile applications and related tools and/or related services and any content coming out of them (collectively, the "Services"). By using any of our Services, you agree to comply with this Policy.

We aim to ensure our Services are used safely, lawfully, and responsibly. Keepsafe reserves the right to determine whether your use of our Services, including any content you upload, generate or otherwise make available through our Services ("Content"), violates this Policy at its sole discretion.

We may update this Policy from time to time as our Services, technologies and associated risks, laws and standards evolve. If we make any material changes to this Policy, we will provide you with notice of such changes, which may include notice through the Service, by email, or by other reasonable means.

Content and Service Standards

You will ensure that all Content that you upload, generate, or otherwise make available through the Services:

Legality

• complies with all applicable laws and does not include, promote, or facilitate any unlawful or illegal content or activity;

Accuracy and Identity

• is accurate and not intended or likely to deceive or mislead any person;
• does not misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person, impersonate any person, or use any person's likeness without their consent;
• does not digitally alter any person's image or voice so as to misrepresent their identity, actions, or speech;
• does not give the impression that the Content emanates from or is endorsed by Keepsafe;

Harmful, Offensive, and Abusive Content

• is not defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory;
• does not bully, harass, embarrass, body shame, exploit vulnerabilities in, insult, intimidate, threaten, or humiliate any person;
• is not intimate image abuse or sexual exploitation;
• does not promote or incite violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, sex, gender identity, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
• does not undermine democratic processes;

Child Safety

• does not expose minors to age-inappropriate content (including self-harm, sexual, or violent material) or facilitate minors' access to age-restricted goods, services, or activities;
• does not groom, abuse, or exploit minors;
• does not include, depict, or promote child sexual abuse material;

Dangerous and Harmful Behaviours

• does not encourage, promote, or provide instructions for self-harm, suicide or eating disorders;
• does not encourage, promote, or provide instructions for dangerous challenges;
• does not facilitate the sale of drugs, weapons, or counterfeit goods;
• does not encourage or induce the commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism;

Third-Party Rights and Duties

• does not breach any legal duty owed to any person (including any contractual duty or duty of confidentiality);
• does not abuse or invade any person's privacy; and
• does not infringe any intellectual property right, including any copyright, database right, or trade mark of any person.

We refer to Content which violates our Standards as Prohibited Content.

Responsible AI Use

You must:

• not upload or make available any AI-generated Content to other users of the Services where such AI-generated Content is Prohibited Content which violates our Content and Service Standards set out above;
• implement appropriate oversight and exercise human judgment before uploading or making available any AI-generated Content to other users of the Services;
• disclose to other users of the Services when Content they may access is AI-generated; and
• not remove, alter, or obscure any watermarks, metadata, or technical identifiers applied to Content to identify that it is AI-generated.

Violations of this Policy

We may use automated systems and human review to detect violations of this Policy, as further described in our Trust & Safety page. We may report illegal Content to appropriate law enforcement or other authorities. We may suspend or remove Content and/or suspend or terminate your account access where we identify potential or actual violations of this Policy.

You may report any content you have accessed through our Services and which you believe violates any term of this Policy to us via our Report Content Form.

We handle reports submitted to us with respect to violations of this Policy in accordance with our Reporting Policy.

You may appeal any decision we have made to take down your Content, or to suspend or terminate access to your account, in accordance with our Appeals Policy.
